I seem to have lost
My inspiration for now
Perhaps I shouldn't post
It simply feels wrong somehow

Oh well, I'll just listen to your songs
No need to feel sorry for me
My music can wait, I think it belongs
To the past anyway, you see

I know, I wanted to participate
But may be it's not meant to be this time
Perhaps if I didn't anticipate
I would have made a better rhyme

I'll just look at your nice posts
Since mine are becoming strange ghosts
My inspiration decided to play hide-and-seek
It went out of the window so to speak

Will it be back? Who knows?
Your guess is as good as mine
At present that's the way it goes
I don't have my lucky sign

My magic piano is alone
Locked in a freezing zone
Will I even find the right tone?
Or am I in the territory of the unknown

I'll call on the ghosts
Of old long ago posts
They just like to play hide and seek
Then they peek through the window at me

It'll just take some time
My fingers are tingling
That's my lucky sign

Locked into a spooky zone
But when I played that special tone
I freed it from the great unknown
