I had a tune in my head
Wanted to record it before going to bed
Was excited as it sounded unusual to me
I've spent a long time finding the right key

After a few hours of jotting it down,
Another hour or so recording
I've listened and I started to frown
As my experience wasn't rewarding

That's not what I meant,
No, that's not what I meant,
The hours I've spent
Didn't help and my inspiration went
It ran somewhere
This is not fair!

It never occurred before
My fl studio wouldn't work properly no more
It records parts but not the whole piece
I play and play but some of the notes are amiss

I close the programme, start it again
Hoping this time it will do just fine
But oh, no, what a pain!
I'm trying to find the solution on line

Nothing helps, it just wouldn't record
I'm pressing the note, two notes, accord
Some are recorded, some are not
I listen in vein, my brain is hot

That's not what I meant,
No, that's not what I meant,
The hours I've spent
Didn't help and my inspiration went
It ran somewhere
This is not fair!
